Gennifer Hirata, a junior at South Dakota, won the top collegiate/open section of the women's pole vault with a lifetime-best clearance of 14-7.25 (4.45m) on her third attempt at the 63rd Mt. SAC Relays at Hilmer Lodge Stadium in Walnut, Calif. Hirata also cleared 14-5.25 (4.40m) on her third opportunity.
